In house graphic brand designer for Caravan Restaurants and Caravan Coffee roasters. In a small but powerful team, you will work directly with the founders and creative director, marketing manager and operations manager to design + create the end to end user experience.

Role Details

The role spans coffee packaging design, restaurant & roastery collateral, photography and brand identity for the fast moving group. Having the right attitude is vital to settling into the team at Caravan, we’re a good laugh and respect each other’s views and we are looking for a passionate, highly creative individual to join the team. 30 – 40 hours per week. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
• Taking graphic design projects from concept to print-ready artwork
• Brand & graphic design for both digital & print output for packaging, digital marketing assets & restaurant + roastery collateral, and bespoke special creative projects such as the London Coffee Festival, reusable coffee cups, website development
• Development & maintenance of visual brand identity across all platforms
• Preparing files for print and negotiating with suppliers as applicable

Skill/Attributes Required

Required skills:

• Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
• An eye for detail and quality
• Great prioritisation and a good problem solver who’s able to work to quick timelines and suggest alternative ways of doing things
• A methodical approach to artwork and file organisation is required to manage timelines across ever-changing coffee offer
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign/Acrobat
• Image retouch/Adobe Lightroom skills
• Photography skills
• Basic proficiency of HTML
• Basic video editing skills

It would be even better if you had;
• A good awareness of the food and beverage scene, particularly specialty coffee.
• Awareness of sustainable production and minimising waste, as a company we care a lot about the impact we have on our planet
• Mailchimp proficiency
• Shopify & perch web hosting proficiency
• AutoCAD or Vectorworks skills for helping with occasional projects involving floor plan layouts or events
