GM of KTVT Raquel Amparo Leaving CBS Stations

Raquel Amparo is leaving CBS News and Stations and its owned station in Dallas, Texas KTVT and KTXA.

Amparo started as general manager at the station in 2021. This was a return to CBS Stations for Amparo, who spent four years before that with Univision owned stations KUVN-KSTR in Dallas-Fort Worth. Amparo spent six years at CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, beginning as an executive producer in October 2011, and was promoted to managing editor in March 2016. Earlier in her career, she was a producer at CBS stations WFOR and WBFS in Miami.

At the time if her hiring, Amparo reported to president of CBS stations Adrienne Roark, who recently left to work at Tegna.

Today is her last day at the station.
