Over these last few years, keeping our spaces and selves clean has been very important due to the pandemic.

With hand sanitizer, it seemed as if they were all the same: They had funny scents, dried your hands out and had boring packaging. Touchland did it differently, creating a product that did its job while smelling good and keeping hands moisturized.

A decade ago, Andrea Lisbona set off on a mission to disrupt the hand sanitizer market in Barcelona, Spain with her company Touchland. It launched in the U.S. with a Kickstarter campaign in 2018, resulting in the brand reaching 450% of its initial fundraising goal and more than 1,500 preorders for the product in one month. Now, consumers can find the cute hand sanitizers at Ulta, Sephora, Target and more retailers.
