Manual #ILoveTheseGuys
Shillington students from around the world share the work of creatives who inspire them in the #ILoveTheseGuys series. In this post, New York graduate Chloe Curran highlights projects from the San Francisco based design and branding studio Manual.
Manual works with a wide range of clients both locally and internationally from start-ups to global brands. Their work has a beautiful balance of simplicity and impact through thoughtful use of color, graphic elements and typography. The studio’s website is very clean and minimal allowing their work to stand on its own. Each sample of work is showcased with consideration to the project itself. The design approach taken for the project influences how they present that particular piece of work—whether it be static photographs of digital mockups, sliding screens, videos or GIF’s. The presentation supports the vibe of that project and helps the work to feel just that extra bit special.
