Dateline Blayne: The Dateline NBC family grows with the addition of its newest correspondent, Blayne Alexander. Based in Atlanta and just back from maternity leave, Alexander has been with NBC News since 2019 and previously reported on the 2020 and 2022 elections, the COVID-19 pandemic, and nationwide protests around racial injustice. “Blayne Alexander is an outstanding journalist who brings depth and perspective to every story she tells,” Dateline’s senior executive producer Liz Cole and executive producer Paul Ryan said in a joint statement.

Jautz’s New Chapter: CNN’s executive vice president of operations Ken Jautz is stepping away from the network after 36 years. “Ken has decided he is ready for a new chapter,” CNN head Mark Thompson said in a memo to staff obtained by Variety. Jautz began his CNN career as a bureau chief in Germany and his stateside roles have included serving as the executive vice president of programming and co-interim CEO of CNN following Jeff Zucker‘s 2022 depature. Fun fact: Jautz was responsible for moving Anderson Cooper 360 from 10 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET in 2011.

Duffy’s New Gig: Beginning October 15 at 4 p.m. ET, Fox Deportes viewers can tune in for an hour of news courtesy of Fox Noticias. The Spanish-language newscast will be anchored by Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy and spotlight issues impacting the Latinx community. Timed to the new program, Fox News Digital has launched a machine-translated Spanish-language version of the foxnews.com website. Noticias.foxnews.com will feature breaking news reporting and commentary.

New Team, New Jobs: CNN has rebranded its booking department as the Enterprise Booking Team, and several staffers now have new roles and responsibilities. Christie Johnson will lead the new team as executive director, overseeing bookings from a variety of areas including the White House, the entertainment world and from within CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery. Other new team appointments include Polson Kanneth as executive director, Washington and special events booking, Jenn Sherwood as director of enterprise booking, and Melissa Giamo returning to CNN as an editorial producer.

Cukaj to Fox: Former WarnerMedia and CNN ad sales executive Katrina Cukaj is joining Fox Corporation as an executive vice president of advertising sales and portfolio marketing. She’ll be responsible for the go-to-market ad sales strategy for Fox Entertainment’s linear and digital portfolio, advanced advertising products, portfolio marketing and brand partnerships, agency relationships, and Upfront negotiations.
