Sara Holland Joins WNCN as Sports Anchor and Reporter

Sara Holland has joined WNCN in Raleigh, N.C. as a sports anchor and reporter.

This is a move within Nexstar for Holland who had worked at WIVB in Buffalo, N.Y. since 2023.

“I’m beyond excited to share that I’m heading south to Raleigh, North Carolina to join the sports team at CBS 17!” she wrote on social media. “North Carolina has always felt like a second home, and now it officially is! I’m so excited to jump into the college sports scene—and keep following my favorite sport, with the Carolina Hurricanes! Grateful for this next chapter and excited to get started!”
