Graphic design intern required for new online mental health magazine and resource for young people, The Mind Map.
Work flexibly and remotely around your existing commitments, at your own pace. We have our brand in place but require additional design support for posters and GIFS.
Role Details
Through interviews with artistic and sporting talent, plus ‘how to’ videos on subjects including exercise, nutrition, yoga and mindfulness, The Mind Map will de-stigmatise and normalise mental health and provide pragmatic resources for young people. We will also use our site to signpost to other mental health services and resources.
We are a social enterprise, based in Liverpool and have spent the past year developing The Mind Map with clinical input from the NHS, plus a host of young people at Liverpool John Moores University and Merseyside Youth Association. We are currently partnering with LJMU on a research project into the mental wellbeing of their students. The result of our development is an engaging online wellbeing resource we’d liked to have given our younger selves.
We have attracted big name interviews for the site with the aim of becoming the UK’s largest online mental health magazine.
Skill/Attributes Required
The position includes creating exciting posters and GIFS to help promote The Mind Map.
We would like an enthusiastic and creative designer.
