The aim of the Creative function at Threefold is to elevate the shopper space by turning media challenges into surprising & exciting creative solutions and shopper experiences. We’re looking for an ambitious Junior Artworker to join the Co-op team and help us bring to life the campaigns we create for our brand clients.
Role Details
This role will suit someone who thrives in a busy environment and working with a small, but highly dedicated team. You will be independent and self-motivated in attitude (proactively offering ideas/creative solutions) while also actively ‘shadowing’ the other Artworker and learning all you need to know about the studio’s creative process and ways of working. We will expect you to be organised and thorough, demonstrating a real eye for detail. You need to bring with you a friendly, collaborative attitude, demonstrating dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism.
Key day to day responsibilities include:
• Learning about the Threefold processes, our clients and their needs
• Interpreting briefs and specifications; Assisting the Artworking team with the execution and delivery of briefs to tight deadlines
• Understanding the specific brand guidelines to ensure we get the creative right first time
• Retouching stock images and photographs to meet the individual brands requirements.
• Designing artwork for shopper marketing campaigns to specification (POS, packaging, digital and social)
• Quality assuring and proofing every artwork element shared with clients
• Preparing and supplying approved artwork for print and online
• Developing relationships and communicating clearly with the Campaign Team to meet the deadlines.
Skill/Attributes Required
Who are we looking for?
• The ideal candidate will have experience as an Artworker/Graphic Designer (as part of your studies/personal
projects)
• A clean, modern aesthetic style and a passion for advertising (with all its facets/disciplines).
• An understanding of the print environment and a keen eye for layout, formatting and colour process.
• Working knowledge of the digital process, such as working in the correct colour profiles/resolution for screens etc.
• Some basic animation skills (Desirable).
Specifically, you need to:
Know your basics: Adobe CC; Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop shortcuts and processes.
Have some experience in both online and print, accurately following brand guidelines.
Take verbal or written briefs and be able to input accurately to meet the guidelines.
Willingness to put the team first. Sometimes you will be required to work outside the working hours to meet deadlines.
