We are seeking a creative, self-motivated individual with a professional, enthusiastic attitude and excellent time management skills to join our team as Junior Graphic Designer. We are a creative think tank.
Role Details
Who you are: Your portfolio is filled with strong samples of your work showcasing a high taste level and featuring your own personal touch. You have a clean design aesthetic and a less-is-more approach. You’re solution-oriented with great ideas as well as strong production skills. Once familiar with a project’s process, you can turn it around quickly. Incorporating varied existing brand design directions into your work is not an issue. You can make it your own without losing the look and feel of the brand’s identity. If necessary, you can revamp an existing brand or create a new identity system from scratch.
You are able to follow direction from the Art Director and Associate Art Director well. Also, you’re open to and not discouraged by the art direction and changes you receive. You recognize that new, original ideas and solutions are always welcome but they should be shown in addition to what is requested. You are thorough and read through the project instructions given, as well as double check edits during the revision process.
Working according to a tight production schedule and juggling multiple projects at once is a strength of yours. You are comfortable interacting and communicating effectively with editors, market analysts, assistants, printers (providing specs and approving proofs), as well as tech and photography departments.
Finally, you enjoy coming to work each day, have a positive attitude, a hard worker and work well within a team.
Workload summary: Projects ranging from multimedia presentations to printed publications to designing and strategizing new marketing and business initiatives. Handling all print and digital projects from design and production stages (i.e. making color, font and layout choices as well as working from template files) to the completion stages (i.e. printing projects in-house or preparing files to release to press, also posting completed projects to the company’s website and preparing push emails to be sent out to clients using templates in our website management system).

Skill/Attributes Required
What you need:
• Bachelors degree in graphic design
• 3-5 years experience
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other standard industry software
• CSS and HTML
• Mobile Application design, UI/UX, HTML 5 experience a plus
