A BAFTA and Emmy award-winning TV production company is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative Development Team for a ONE MONTH PAID PLACEMENT, which could lead to a longer term opportunity. This is an opportunity for a Designer excited about breaking into the television industry.
Role Details
RESPONSIBILITY
Support the Development Team by producing a range of graphics and conceptual artwork for new TV programme ideas. These will include ‘TV Posters’, pitch proposals, decks, logos, conceptual ‘billboard ads’, assets for print and web, and any visual aids the team can use to brand ideas and excite US and UK TV broadcasters.
Skill/Attributes Required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
· Excellent creative design abilities
· A highly creative thinker with a constant stream of fresh ideas
· An avid watcher of TV across all platforms and an interest in the industry
· Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills
· Confident in using (or learning quickly) MS Powerpoint
· Able to work with a wide range of briefs, styles and genres
· A highly motivated and collaborative worker
· The ability to communicate ideas and take feedback onboard
· Have a strong brand awareness, particularly within TV
· Good planning and organisational skills
· Good knowledge of fonts – particularly within TV design
· Able to prioritise tasks and projects
BONUS SKILLS
· Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Education
Degree in graphic design, fine arts or equivalent certification or job experience desirable.
