WBND anchor Jennifer Copeland has died at the age of 46.
In a statement, the South Bend, Indiana ABC affiliate said it’s “devastated” to learn of her passing and was privileged “to be able to know of her personal impact on so many lives.”
Copeland worked at WSBT in South Bend before moving to the ABC affiliate last year. She announced back in May that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

All of us at ABC57 are devastated to learn of Jennifer’s passing. Viewers knew of her commitment to Michiana from her years on TV, but we were also privileged in our newsroom to be able to know of her personal impact on so many lives. Jennifer was a devoted mother and took on every challenge with courage. Our deepest sympathies are with her family.
