Culture Buff Games is offering a part-time virtual Multi-Media Designer position as part of the UK government’s Kickstart Scheme. Culture Buff Games is an EdTech developer in game-based culture learning. Designed by interculturalists, our games leverage visual storytelling to teach people about different cultures.
Role Details
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR UK KICKSTART SCHEME
Be between 16-24 years in the UK. Must currently be out of work and claiming Universal Credit in the UK
The job will be:
Remote Work – work virtually from anywhere in the UK
25 hours or 3 days a week
6-month contract
Responsibilities
Create compelling content for video, animation and graphic design for Edtech games company.
Conceptualise, produce and edit static images, short video and animation in line with our brand and marketing strategy.
Create content across a variety of areas including social media, blogs, video editing.
Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for a variety of projects.
Skill/Attributes Required
Graduate diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Animation, Digital Media & Games Design.
Proficient in Adobe Software: Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Premier Pro.
A portfolio of digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
At least 1 years’ experience in graphic design preferred.
Self-motivated, willing to work independently and muck in.
Interest in experiencing a bootstrapping EdTech start-up and learning about different cultures.
