Studio Macki is a fresh take on the traditional creative agency. We work with globally-recognised brands to startups across the beauty, hospitality, fashion & wellness worlds.
We are looking for a freelance or part-time Graphic Designer that is passionate about crafting unique and impactful brand identities.
Role Details
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Working closely with Studio Macki’s Creative Director and team to deliver exceptional design.
– Designing Brand Identities, with deliverables such as logos, stationery, packaging, animations and websites.
– Creating mockups and portfolio assets of the Studio’s brand designs to be featured on our social media and website.
– Managing Studio Macki’s digital marketing and social media design – such as curating and posting to the studio’s social media and crafting newsletters.
– Creating proposal decks, mood boards and brand presentations to send to existing clients and new business leads.
– Attending client meetings, with the Creative Director, to receive feedback and briefings.
Skill/Attributes Required
REQUIREMENTS
– Available 2 – 3 days p/wk with the opportunity to increase days.
– Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite; particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
– Confident in written and spoken English.
– Strong communication and organisational skills.
– 1+ years experience working in the design industry either in a freelance or full-time capacity.
– Comfortable working in google desktop: google slides, docs, google meet.
– Experience working with the following online design / digital marketing software: Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Flodesk, Later, Linktree and GoDaddy Studio.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
– Ability to create Animations; working in After Effects or Photoshop.
– Skills in Web Design, working in Figma, Adobe XD, WordPress or Squarespace.
– Copywriting skills (mainly for caption copy on social media).
