Tuesday, April 15 Evening Cable News Ratings: A Closer Race at 9 PM

Fox News continues to overwhelmingly dominate its cable news rivals during total day and primetime in total viewers and Adults 25-54. However, the 9 p.m. ET slot is becoming slightly closer as MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show continues to make slow but meaningful gains against Hannity. On Tuesday, 98,000 demo viewers and over 600,000 total viewers separated the two primetime shows. In comparison, on Monday night, 157,000 and 797,000 A25-54 and total viewers separated them, respectively.
