Thirsty? Since the 1800s, Campari have created some of the most iconic imagery in advertising. From the original Belle Époque posters to the revolutionary campaigns of the 1920s and 1960s, this exhibition at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art celebrates the apertivo’s design heritage. The show features original sketches by Futurist artist Fortunato Depero (the brain behind Campari’s celebrated visual identity), nestled amongst crates, glasses, bottles and other ephemera. When it comes to distinctive advertising, there’s really no campari-son.
Exhibition runs until 18 September 2018
