BENTO is a bi-annual magazine which opens for submissions twice a year, for your chance to have your work featured in a one-page spread. Be it typography, digital painting, art, illustration, concept art, games art or 2D animation, we want to see it all!
Role Details
We’re Bento Box Design Studio, and we believe the world runs on a spirit of creativity, innovation and collaboration. This ideology is the driving force behind BENTO, an online publication viewable on ISSUU featuring emerging talent from all over the globe, now with a readership in excess of 65,000 people.
With every issue, you can delve into a collection of deliciously inspiring creative pieces which have been handpicked to shine a much deserved spotlight on brilliant individuals.
Connecting people from all ages and backgrounds through their passion for all things creative, BENTO aims to build a united community and spark much needed conversations. We understand the creative industry often goes undervalued which is why we have provided a platform for your talent to be recognised by the world.
For our eighth edition, we’ve teamed up with the Perth-based apparel startup Cheeky Raptor who will be selecting one submittor to create a design that will be featured in their next run. Cheeky Raptor works with artists to create apparel featuring their designs and then takes care of everything from photography and marketing to sales and shipping. They then split 50% of the profits per sale with their artist partners.
