We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our fast-paced growing team at Private Brands. You will work under the supervision of our National Marketing Manager to produce high-quality work in a timely fashion.

About Private Brands
Our sales and warehouse facility is located in Minto where you will find a small but rapidly expanding team. Our company designs and imports Personal Protective Equipment and we distribute our products through a select network of distributors in each state.
Job brief
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our fast-paced growing team at Private Brands. You will work under the supervision of our National Marketing Manager to produce high-quality work in a timely fashion.
In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote our company’s brands. Working closely on multiple brands from packaging requirements through to website design. The job has a large scope to allow you to grow as a designer across multiple mediums.
Responsibilities
• Understand project requirements and concepts
• Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
• Produce final design solutions
• Pitch creative ideas
• Collaborate with team members to launch projects
• Take on special design tasks (photography / colour correction)
Skill/Attributes Required
• Able to participate in various design projects from concept to completion
• Experience with design software (Indesign/Animate/Adobe XD) and graphics editing tools (Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Familiarity with design techniques
• Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
• Teamwork skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Time management and multitasking abilities
• Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Able to listen to feedback to hone skills and improve design
