The Type Director’s Club (TDC) celebrates the power of typography, uniting a global community of type lovers who believe type drives culture and culture drives type. Earlier this year, the club announced a type based competition for designers to submit their work to the Ascenders and now the results are finally in!

Work by the ten winners of the 2019 Ascenders is currently on view at the TDC gallery in New York showcasing their impressive type-based design. The Ascenders 2019 competition received 130 entries by designers from 33 countries.

The exhibit features work by these winners:

• Fernanda Cozzi (Buenos Aires)
• Sean Freeman (London)
