We’re very excited to announce the launch of Shillington’s brand new podcast—Pathfinder!

Pathfinder exists to support Shillumni and other graphic design graduates across the world entering the creative industry. The podcast host, Shillington New York teacher Jimmy Muldoon is an Australian graphic designer and will offer relatable content that helps designers navigate the highs and lows of the journey from graduate to working designer.

On the podcast, we’ll chat with Shillington graduates about their journeys through the industry—from the Shillington course itself to finding themselves as a designer, their first design job and more.

We also talk with leaders from across the industry about how to stand out in the crowd as an intern, what creative directors look for in junior designers, how designers got their first jobs to then running their own studio and how to keep creatively inspired in this industry. We’ll also chat with guests about their own creative journeys from the very beginnings until now—and all the twists and turns along the way.

We’re kicking off proceedings with two amazing designers:

• Zipeng Zhu, Art Director and Founder of Dazzle Studio and Dazzle Supply from New York
• Craig Black, Independent Designer, Lettering Artist and Typographer from Scotland
