When it hit theaters in 2016, Deadpool was a surprise box office, critical and popular hit, earning $152.2 million over President’s Day weekend (it was only just surpassed by this year’s Black Panther.) As a result, audiences have been eagerly anticipating the return of the foul-mouthed superhero merc, which hits theaters on May 18th.
