Accenture Song Tuesday named Ami Palan as its new lead for the Americas. 

In this role, she will be responsible for leading and growing Accenture Song’s business in the Americas region, which includes shaping and delivering strategy for the market, as well as collaborating across the creative agency to ensure that clients benefit from the full spectrum of its offerings and its consulting and technology expertise.

Palan takes over for Ndidi Oteh, who is transitioning over to be Accenture Song’s global CEO, beginning Sept. 1.

Prior to this appointment, Palan was Accenture Song’s global service practice lead. She has over 25 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies on transforming marketing, sales, and service functions, having worked with over 100 clients across 20+ countries.

In addition to Palan’s appointment, Accenture Song announced leadership appointments across its Asia-Pacific business, including Junichiro Kurokawa, who becomes the new APAC lead for the company, in addition to his current role as Accenture Song’s Japan lead. He succeeds Flaviano Faleiro, who was named financial services lead for the U.S.

And Southeast Asia lead Simone Morandi takes on additional duties as Asia Oceania lead, a newly created role reporting to Kurokawa.
