This is the first Andy Warhol retrospective in the U.S. since 1989, exploring his life and work at the Whitney Museum. The experimental and non-traditional art-making techniques of Warhol made him one of the most influential and innovative American artists. He understood the power of images and helped to expand the role of the artist in society.
