Calling all aspiring creatives – we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our Design Team. This role will primarily be remote with the opportunity to work in our London studio.

You’ll be working as part of a diverse graphics team as well as alongside the wider Barker Langham team. The role requires an excellent visual communicator and team player to design social media assets, reports, tenders and presentations – as well as assisting the Senior Graphic Designers on larger scale branding, exhibition design, and publication projects. You’ll be uber organised, maintaining accurate files and records, managing your personal workflow and schedule, participating in meetings and comfortable presenting your ideas and designs.
The right person for this role will have 1-2 years of industry experience, or recently graduated, be confident in own ability but smart enough to request help when it’s needed, have an appetite to develop new creative and technical skills, and excel in communication. You are Mac literate and able to use Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, alongside proficiency in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Good time-management skills are a must, you’ll need to be able to work across several projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
Skill/Attributes Required
– 1-2 years professional experience as a graphic designer (or recently graduated)
– A graphic design degree
– An excellent, diverse portfolio of work including layouts/editorials
– Excellent skills across Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Microsoft Package and Google Suite
– Demonstrated ability in the creation of infographics
– Attention to detail, strong aesthetic, knowledge of typography and layout principles
– A creative problem solver
– Flexible, collaborative, and resourceful hands-on approach
– Ability to work swiftly across diverse projects
– Strong organisational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
– Meeting demanding timescales, whilst maintaining the highest standards
– A passion for Graphic Design, aware of latest design trends, practices and movements
