CGR Sportswear is looking for a new Team member to bring their creative flair to Australia’s sportswear industry. We work with some of Victoria’s most recognisable Elite and community sporting organisations.

Role Details

CGR Sportswear is looking for a new Team member to bring their creative flair to Australias sportswear industry. We work with some of Victorias most recognisable Elite and community sporting organisations, and are looking for a Graphic Designer eager to become involved in the process of creating apparel for the likes of AFL Victoria as well as community competitions around Country Vic.

The ideal candidate will be a highly driven sports fan, hungry to make their mark Australias sporting landscape across a range of disciplines. We design and manufacture apparel for sports including, but not limited to, Football, Netball, Soccer, Basketball, Futsal etc.

If you are a proficient designer with an open attitude and adaptable workflow, and you love Sport as much as you love design, were eager to meet you!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Senior Designer, your key responsibilities will include:

– Collaborating with the design team to come up with creative graphic concepts for sporting clubs, designing on and off field apparel, branding, word marks, all across a range of different sports.
– Setting up files for print production
– Producing assets for website, social media and catalogues
– Managing content and layouts of our Instagram Accounts and scheduling posts ahead of time

Skill/Attributes Required

– Fast worker, who can turn around finished assets quickly and have a good eye for detail
– A Tertiary qualification in design
– Strong Illustrative skills
– Passion for sportswear design and sporting trends
– Knowledge in Colour matching, pre-press and CMYK printing
– Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques / fabrics / sublimation
– Able to take criticism and proven ability to interpret client briefs
– Creative thinker with exceptional visual portfolio displaying examples of sport logos, uniforms, illustrations etc.
– High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects) on both Mac & Windows platforms
– Hard working who has a team first attitude
