Coupang reported Q4 losses on Thursday, Feb. 26, with revenue totaling below the estimates of analysts. The revenue for the quarter came in at $8.8 billion, though $8.9 billion was predicted. The organization saw a loss of $26 million compared to year-earlier profit.

Coupang Korea, which accounts for more than 90% of the group’s revenue, experienced a data breach in November 2025 that likely had an impact on the revenue losses. This breach affected around 34 million individuals

Active customers of the product commerce segment increased by 8% from the previous year (24.6 million in the fourth quarter). However, this number fell from the previous quarter at 24.7 million, presumably as a result of the data breach.

According to Chief Financial Officer Gaurav Anand, while the breach’s impact should gradually lessen throughout the year, growth and profitability will likely stay muted in the next months.
