
Justin Fox has been promoted to regional vice president of Sales for the FOX-owned properties in Florida, comprised of WTVT FOX 13 Tampa Bay, WOFL FOX 35 Orlando, WRBW FOX 35 Plus, and WOGX Fox51 Gainesville.
He takes over for Shawn Gossett who retires after 23 years as vice president of Sales for WTVT Fox 13, reporting directly to Maloney.
“Justin has proven himself to be a great manager who delivers strong results for our clients by harnessing the many marketing tools in the FOX stable,” said Jeff Maloney, senior vice president and regional general manager of Fox Television Stations’ Florida properties.
Fox has been with Fox Television Stations for nearly 20 years. Since November 2021, he has served as vice president and director of Sales for WOFL Fox 35 Orlando, WRBW Fox 35 Plus, and WOGX Fox51 Gainesville.
Before that, he spent 11 years at the Fox-owned duopoly in Houston, KRIV Fox 26 and KTXH My20, first as national sales manager, then local sales manager. He’s also worked as an account executive for Fox Station Sales. Fox began his career in sales as an Account Executive for Blair Television. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the Fox properties in Tampa, Orlando, and Gainesville. I look forward to building on our strong foundation and achieving new milestones,” said Fox.
Shawn Gossett spent 23 years at WTVT FOX 13. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Sales Manager since September of 2010, previously, held the roles of National Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager for the station.
Gossett added, “I am truly thankful for the opportunities Fox has provided me and for the friendships I’ve built over my 23 years with the company. It has been an incredible journey, and I thank everyone who made my career so fulfilling. I’m eager to spend more time with family and friends, as well as embrace the freedom and opportunities that retirement brings.”
