Fox wants to expand its programming reach, so it is first expanding its team.
Today, Prentiss Fraser, president of Fox Entertainment Global, announced that Matt Hanna is coming on as senior vice president of sales, Americas.
The new executive will oversee all sales in the U.S., Canada, and LATAM, leading licensing and distribution strategy while being responsible for Fox’s content monetization across the Americas. Hanna will look to maximize original and acquired IP across linear, digital, and more.
“Matt’s proven track record in driving sales and forging partnerships will be instrumental as we expand our programming reach across the Americas,” Fraser said in a statement. “His strategic insights, strong relationships, and passion for the industry make him an invaluable addition to our executive team.”
Hanna has around two decades of experience in content licensing, distribution, and digital strategy, most recently serving as svp of global distribution at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
With the news, Fox continues to invest in itself. Among the recent highlights, the company’s ad sales added Puja Vohra as chief marketing officer and executive vice president over the summer.
