Grey New York has named former BBH USA president Agnes Fischer as its new CEO.
Fischer will be tasked with overseeing Grey’s flagship U.S. agency along with chief creative officer Thiago Cruz, who has been there since 2022, and chief strategy officer RG Logan, who came on board last November.
The three-person leadership team at Grey New York reports to Grey global CEO Laura Maness and global CCO Gabriel Schmitt.
Fischer had been president at BBH USA since January 2023. During her tenure, she boosted the agency’s revenue, ending her time there by winning her last three pitches.
Prior to BBH USA, Fischer held senior leadership roles at T&Pm, Droga5, Anomaly, DDB, and TBWA\Chiat\Day.
“People take their cues from how leaders behave,” Maness said in a statement. “Embodying Grey’s values of creativity, unity, empathy and service, Agnes, Thiago, and RG are a vibrant, dynamic team set to shape the future of the studio in one of our highest-priority growth markets.
“Combining Agnes’ client obsession and people-focused leadership, RG’s proven strategic expertise, and Thiago’s bold creative vision, together, they will enhance Grey’s high standards for a workplace that people aspire to be part of, and work that stands out in culture and drives real business impact for clients.”
Fischer added: “Grey is an iconic creative agency with a clear North Star that illuminates what every client on the planet ultimately seeks: growth. ‘Famously Effective’ means we are obsessed with work that works, and this philosophy is enabled by bold creativity that truly breaks through, a deep understanding of today’s audiences, and a culture driven by our desire to do the best work for our clients. I am honored to take on this role at such an exciting and defining moment for Grey New York.”
