It’s tougher than ever to be a Brand Genius.

There’s so much noise out there. Everyone wants your attention and has something to sell. It’s in this environment that this year’s class of ADWEEK Brand Geniuses, brought to you in partnership with Shutterstock, have had to rise up. 

While it’s true that some have celebrity to leverage for attention, even that isn’t a guarantee of success, as even movie and music stars have to fight to be noticed in a sea of social media noise—not to mention, building a great product that’s actually worthy of notice.
