The Hershey Company has hired former Kraft Heinz executive Tiffany Menyhart as its new chief growth officer (CGO).

With 30 years of sales and CPG experience, including 15 years in confection, Menyhart will lead the sales team at Hershey’s U.S. Confection arm, which includes its namesake brand as well as Reese’s and SkinnyPop.

In a statement, the business said Menyhart had a proven record of driving profitable growth, creating transformational change, and elevating relationships with retail partners.

“Tiffany’s visionary leadership, extensive experience across confection and snacking categories, and focus on the customer will guide our commercial organization’s next growth phase to meet the evolving needs of our retail partners and consumers,” said Andrew Archambault, president of U.S. Confection at The Hershey Company. “She brings enthusiasm and a fresh outlook, driving us towards our 2025 goals and beyond.”

Menyhart has held various senior roles at Kraft Heinz since September 2020, most recently as svp, strategic accounts, and growth channels. Before that, she worked as chief commercial officer (CCO) at Sodexo and vp, U.S. category leadership at Mars Wrigley.

“For more than two decades, I’ve admired Hershey’s best-in-class commercial team and its pioneering leadership in category excellence,” said Menyhart. “I’m excited to return to confection, represent iconic brands with a talented team, and lead category growth while delivering exceptional experiences for our customers and consumers.”

Looking to 2025

In February, Hershey reported better-than-anticipated revenues as price increases helped it offset rising cocoa costs, which are hitting chocolate brands hard.

For 2024, the Almond Joy owner posted year-on-year growth of almost 9%, bringing in sales of $2.89 billion.

However, Hershey chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman, Michele Buck, told investors in February that the surge in cocoa prices would continue to “put significant pressure on earnings in 2025,” leading the company to predict a modest 2% growth for the year.

Hershey’s vp of brand strategy and creative, Ryan Riess, has overseen some big moments for the business over the last few months, including airing a Jennifer Aniston-fronted spot for SkinnyPop during the Oscars and buying a second consecutive Big Game ad for Reese’s during Super Bowl 59.
