A high-stakes summit is taking place on Friday in Anchorage, Alaska, between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The talks, held without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, center on bringing to an end the war in Ukraine, which has been ongoing since February 2022.
The broadcast and cable news networks have dispatched their on-air talent to the most northern state in the U.S. and are providing special coverage of the summit throughout the day, including the latest developments and any fallout from the meeting between two of the world’s most important leaders.

ABC News
David Muir will lead reporting from New York, joined from Alaska by Martha Raddatz, Mary Bruce, and Rachel Scott.
