The book jacket designs of Janet Hansen are colorful, simple and sophisticated. She seems to employ the international style in her use of large text, asymmetry, and simple shapes/lines.
The hierarchy of her covers are excellent—my eye goes down the page easily while enjoying the colors and/or illustration of each piece. I love her range of typography—the type on each cover seems to capture the essence of each book. She also uses repetition by repeating simple, geometric shapes on a lot of her covers.
