Mario may finally be getting his own English-language encyclopedia on October 23rd, a tome that tracks the three decades of his existence in Nintendo games, as spotted by Kotaku.

The original book came out in Japan in 2015, and an English translation was reportedly set to be released on June 15th last year, according to Amazon preorders, but those listings were taken down without an explanation. Nintendo and the publisher, Dark Horse Comics, kept silent. But now the Super Mario Encyclopedia has appeared on Amazon with a new release date. It’s available for , listed as being sold by Nintendo, but the listing doesn’t have an image. German and Spanish versions of the encyclopedia were made available last October. Dark Horse Comics and Nintendo did not immediately respond to comment.

The Japanese version of Super Mario Encyclopedia contains 256 pages of content from 17 Super Mario games, from the original to Super Mario 3D World. Also included are an interview with producer Takashi Tezuka, game tips for finding every star, coin, sun, and mushroom, glitch explainers, and level layouts. Since it’s a translation of a 2015 book, the encyclopedia unfortunately leaves out Super Mario Odyssey.

Nintendo previously teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to create three Legend of Zelda books last year. Dark Horse Comics then followed up with a , currently available for preorder. So a deluxe edition of the Mario encyclopedia might possibly be on the horizon.
