This week has been another revolving door of hires, departures, and promotions at brands, from CMO appointments to sustainability officer departures.
We’re rounding up the U.S. and global marketing leadership moves you should know about for the week ending Sept. 12.
Luxury haircare business Seen has appointed Linh Peters as CMO. The hire follows a nationwide rollout in Ulta Beauty. Peters previously held senior roles at Walgreens, Best Buy, and Target.
Not strictly a marketing role, but an important one: Nike’s chief sustainability officer, Jaycee Pribulsky, is leaving for a new opportunity after less than two years in the role. Her exit follows a rough 2025 for the brand, which recently reworked its famous slogan to appeal to Gen Z.
Speaking of Nike, London soccer team Tottenham Hotspur has signed sneaker vet Adam Gardiner as CMO. He joins from the Premier League side’s biggest rival, Arsenal, where he has spent the last five years. He’s been tapped to deepen fan engagement.
Energy drink business Celsius Holdings has tapped ex-Mark Anthony Brands marketer Rishi Daing as CMO. It also promoted Kyle Watson and JoBeth Fink to the new roles of chief brand officer and chief creative officer, respectively.
The Estée Lauder Companies has tapped René Lammers from Pepsi as its chief research and innovation officer.
Michelin, famous for both its tires and dining guide, has appointed 25-year company veteran Cedric Binoit as managing director and VP of marketing and sales for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). He’ll be based in Dubai.
