Last week, former President Donald Trump returned to the late night airwaves for the first time since 2016 with a taped appearance on the Fox News hit Gutfeld! Now, Melania Trump will make her own FNC pit stop in the early morning hours on the network’s AM staple, Fox & Friends.
The former first lady will sit for her first TV interview in nearly two years on Sept. 26, speaking with co-host Ainsley Earhardt. Per FNC, subjects covered in the conversation will be her new memoir, the two assassination attempts against the former president and, of course, America’s sprint towards Election Day.
Donald Trump’s appearance on Greg Gutfeld‘s show proved a ratings bonanza for Fox, scoring nearly 5 million viewers. Prior to Gutfeld!, his last late night appearance was an infamous hair ruffling interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Melania Trump gave her most recent TV interview to Pete Hesgeth on a May 2022 episode of Fox & Friends Weekend.
“People I see always criticize me, whatever I do, and I’m used to that,” she said at the time. “I move forward and I’m here to helping people. And that is the mission.”
