Entertainment Magpie is looking for a passionate and talented junior graphic designer to join their in-house creative team. Based in Stockport, we buy and sell entertainment media and technology across various channels in the UK and US, reaching millions of customers every year.
Role Details
Reporting to a senior designer and working closely with our creative, marketing and merchandising teams, you will be responsible for designing marketing materials for our digital and offline channels in the UK and US, as well as contributing to the development of our brand identity.
Self motivation, creativity and collaboration are key to this role. You will be expected to manage your own workload, contribute ideas and work closely with other members of the team to produce outstanding, engaging and eye-catching creative.

Skill/Attributes Required
Essential skills and qualifications
• 1 year+ design experience, either agency or in-house
• Relevant qualifications (degree or equivalent)
• Excellent working-knowledge of Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud (inc. Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• A strong understanding of design trends and best practices and an awareness of its importance in responsive web, mobile and app based design.
• Print design experience (Posters, Leaflets, POS etc.)
• UX/UI Design experience
• Excellent design and layout skills, in particular the use of colour, composition and typography whilst working with existing brand guidelines.
• The ability to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast paced, reactive e-commerce environment.
Preferred but not essential skills
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects/Animate for the production of motion graphics
• Illustration skills
• Video editing experience
• Superb brew-making skills
