Users in Australia, Canada and the U.S. can access Cheer Map here or via the Nextdoor application and indicate that they plan to decorate for the holidays.

Neighbors can then plan a route to see decorations in their area, providing them with a safe, socially distanced holiday activity.

A Nextdoor poll of more than 120,000 people across the U.S. found that 70% of them had already put up their holiday decorations in November, with 22% doing so prior to Thanksgiving.

Nextdoor teamed up with Party City on a similar initiative for Halloween, the Treat Map, which enabled neighbors to share Covid-safe Halloween activities they were partaking in and helped fellow neighbors plan their itineraries.
