Quarto Publishing are looking for a junior designer to join our creative and dynamic, non-fiction publishing team, based in our busy Islington office.
Role Details
Tasks would be helping with new ideas, to assisting in designing, amending and preparing layouts for output to printers, and supporting our reprint program – working across all areas of the department. The role is on a fixed term 6-month contract, 2 days a week. Our working hours are 9-5pm.
Skill/Attributes Required
The ideal candidate will have 12 months’ experience as a design assistant, and must be proficient in all aspects of Adobe CC. A keen interest in publishing is desirable, with a willingness to learn on the job and assist in all aspects of book design and production.
