Staff build-up: MSNBC is continuing to expand its newsgathering operations as it prepares to join the Versant family. The news network has announced the addition of reporters and correspondents, with the majority continuing to come over from NBC News, including Brandy Zadrozny, Vaughn Hillyard, and David Noriega.
Zadrozny will serve as an MSNBC senior enterprise reporter based in New York. Prior to MSNBC, she was a senior reporter for NBC News, covering the internet with a focus on politics, tech, and extremism.
Hillyard becomes the network’s new senior White House correspondent. He was previously a White House Correspondent for NBC News. Noriega joins as an MSNBC Correspondent. At NBC News, he was a national correspondent.
Outside hires include Laura Barrón-López, who becomes the network’s new White House Correspondent. She joins from PBS NewsHour, where she was also a White House Correspondent. Marc Santia makes the leap from local news to become MSNBC’s investigative correspondent. He was previously a reporter on criminal justice, security issues, and investigations for NBC 4 New York.

Same beat: CNN has named Adam Cancryn its new White House reporter. Cancryn joins CNN from the digital publication Politico, where he served a similar role covering the Biden and Trump administrations and the politics, policy, and people driving their respective domestic agendas.

London appointment: CNBC has announced that Ritika Gupta will become the network’s new UK reporter. Based in London, she will appear on international business day programs and report on compelling topics from The City of London and across the United Kingdom on all CNBC platforms. She was previously with BBC News, where she was a New York-based North America business correspondent and anchor.
