
Newest addition: NBC News announced that Noreen Gillespie is joining the news network as a senior vice president, head of news standards and practices. Reporting to Rebecca Blumenstein, NBC News president, editorial, Gillespie was most recently a journalism director at Microsoft’s Trusted Technology Group. She has also held multiple roles at The Associated Press, including global business editor, deputy managing editor, U.S. news, and deputy sports editor. Gillespie begins her new assignment on Monday, September 29.
Revised line-up: Newsmax is making changes to its weekday evening lineup, affecting Greta Van Susteren. Beginning Monday, September 9, Van Susteren and her show The Record will move from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The network says this move positions her “at the heart of momentous breaking stories as the market closes, court hearings end, and Congress adjourns.” The Chris Salcedo Show moves to 5 p.m. ET, followed by Carl Higbie Frontline, which takes over at 6 p.m. ET. The rest of the evening lineup remains unchanged.

New bureau hires: CNN is beefing up its Jerusalem bureau, as it has added Tal Shalev as a senior reporter and Zeena Saifi as a field producer. Shalev was most recently the chief political correspondent and analyst at one of Israel’s largest online news outlets, Walla! News. Meanwhile, Saifi is moving from CNN’s Abu Dhabi bureau, where she served as a multiplatform producer.

From a.m. to p.m.: Bloomberg TV’s Katie Greifeld is moving from the morning shift to late afternoons as she will be joining Romaine Bostick on The Close, which airs weekdays from 3 to 5 p.m. ET. Greifeld previously anchored Open Interest, which aired from 9 to 11 a.m. ET and is now helmed by Matt Miller and Dani Burger.
