Saturday, April 26 Evening Cable News Ratings: MSNBC Is Only Network to Air White House Correspondents’ Dinner

MSNBC’s decision to air the White House Correspondents’ Dinner—hosted by one of the network’s newest hires, Eugene Daniels—paid off in the 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET hours. MSNBC surpassed CNN in total viewers, but not the Adults 25-54 demo, during that block. CNN and Fox News opted against broadcasting the annual event. Fox News’ Life, Liberty & Levin was the most-watched show of the evening in both measured categories, while a Real Time re-air attracted CNN’s largest total viewer audience.
