We are seeking an energetic individual who specialises in social media and content creation to join us at Shima.
Shima is the first Saké Spritz in a can – we blend familiar flavours with those that spark intrigue.
Role Details
We are looking for an individual with experience in Social Media and Content Creation with an keen interest in creating engaging content for our audience.
Bring one of the first hires at Shima, there is a real opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the business, as well have a real impact on the key decisions and the direction of the company.
Ideally, our candidate will be:
• An organised self-starter with an abundance of enthusiasm
• Able to create, take ownership and work to KPIs
• Passionate about all things creative, brand & social media
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment – flexibility and eagerness to try new things
• Experienced with social media and CRM platforms (Mail Chimp etc.)
• Proficient with using graphic designing tools and planning platforms (Canva, Planoly, etc.)
• Be able to work and create strategies for organic content and email marketing
• Happy to work both remotely and in situ with minimal supervision
Skill/Attributes Required
Key Responsibilities:
• Creation, development and execution of social media strategies and monthly content plans for Shima
• Content creation and brand asset development
• Generate sales and awareness with creative strategies across direct marketing initiatives, social and digital media
• Build Shima’s brand visibility and awareness through compelling audience engagement, ultimately leading to sales conversion
• Provide regular and consistent reporting coupled with analysis and insights
• Development of required marketing collateral including design, development, and distribution

Skill/Attributes Required
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree
• Evidence of good academic performance
• Advanced IT Skills especially across Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Keyword, Photoshop, Canva, InDesign
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organised with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Knowledge of and understanding in the drinks industry and FMCG brands
• Works hard and is highly flexible to work in a dynamic start-up
• This is a hybrid role – working primarily from home but based in London.
