Role Details
Signature Orthopaedics is an orthopaedic design company, where we design/develop/manufacture and distribute prosthesis around the globe.
Having recently opened a second manufacturing facility in Ireland, and an increased presence in the USA, we feel the timing is right to create a full time graphic design position.
We are seeking a mature energetic somebody, who can plug into our current design team and make meaningful contributions from day 1.
Skill/Attributes Required
Skills and qualifications:
• Have relevant qualifications in Graphic Design
• Ideally 1-2 year’s professional industry-based experience (desirable but not essential)
• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Strong typography, layout and composition skills to deliver beautiful design experiences across
print and digital formats
• Ability to develop graphic communications to portray complex technical information to both a
layperson and technical audience.
• Experience or at least an interest in product photography desirable.
• Have a solid understanding of print and electronic production processes, artwork file formats
and advertising media requirements.
• Experience with Keyshot and video production is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to proactively suggest, recommend and advise on matters of
visual identity and graphic communications.
• High level organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work in an environment of tight and
changing deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Mature and professional approach to work, punctual and reliable.
• Positive and flexible attitude to unplanned requests and urgent needs.
Responsibilities:
• Working with Industrial Designers to deliver concepts and developments
• Developing technical “Surgical Techniques” documents, and supporting material.
• Developing promotional material such as flyers, banners, posters, presentation slides
• Developing product packaging.
• Creating project/product logos.
• Photographing products.
