Publicis Groupe says it’s poised to claim the title of the world’s largest advertising holding company by revenue before 2024 is out. If it does, it will mark the first time a French business has overtaken rivals including Omnicom Group and WPP.
Publicis recorded $10.5 billion in turnover for the first nine months of 2024. Comparatively, WPP made around $10.2 billion. Consensus estimates by financial research platform Visible Alpha expect the Pulicis to pull in sales of $14.5 billion by the end of the year.
In November, Publicis dismissed over 100 U.S. workers in its media division for failing to comply with its return to office mandate.
