Take 5 Oil Change’s first chief marketing officer (CMO) Doug Zarkin has left the business after one year in the role.

The marketer confirmed his exit on LinkedIn, stating that his chapter at the Driven Brands-owned company has concluded “during a period of enterprise change.”

At the time of publication, Driven Brands had not responded to ADWEEK’s request for comment.

Zarkin joined Take 5 in July 2025 from wellness and fitness services company MPRBrands. At the time, he was charged with strengthening Take 5’s positioning, improving customer insights, and advancing its data-driven marketing.

Over the last 12 months, Zarkin developed a branded entertainment partnership with NBCUniversal, which included integrations with The TODAY Show and The Kelly Clarkson Show.
