Black Friday season is likely the best and smartest time of year to purchase a new TV. It’s between this and sometime around the Super Bowl, when prices also tend to drop. A ton of retailers will be offering doorbuster specials like TVs priced under $200. Tempting as those “deals” might seem, it’s worth remembering that you’ll likely keep a TV for several years. Even for secondary sets, it’s worth spending a bit more to get something that’ll be a pleasure to watch.
Nothing on this list is a waste of your money. If you can spring for an LG OLED, that’s obviously the way to go. Second to that, I’d recommend either the TCL 6 Series or Vizio P-Series Quantum. We’ve yet to formally review the latter, but I can tell you it delivers…
