Universal Pictures has released its final trailer for J.A. Bayona’s upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

In the first pair of trailers for the film, we saw that the park’s location, Isla Nublar, is also home to an erupting volcano, which threatens to wipe out both the abandoned park and the dinosaurs that live there, four years after the events of 2015’s Jurassic World. This new trailer shows that we can expect more from the film than an elaborate air rescue: there are people who are looking to save the dinosaurs for reasons other than their appeal as theme park attractions. They want to use them as weapons.

The trailer reveals that the situation forces Claire Dearing’s (Bryce Dallas Howard) new outfit, the Dinosaur Protection Group, to save only 11 species living on the island, including the T. rex and Blue, the raptor that Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) trained. Grady is recruited to help capture the dinosaur, but at some point, the pair realizes that they’ve been deceived, and back on the mainland, the dinosaurs will be auctioned off or used for other purposes.

This tracks with the ending of Colin Trevorrow’s film, in which park scientist Dr. Henry Wu escapes with a bunch of dinosaur embryos and plans to use some of the hybrids as weapons. We also see some hints that they not only have those weaponized dinosaurs that were created, but they’re now out in the world where they can’t possibly escape or be misused. The whole thing looks like it might follow the lead of 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park, in which an InGen expedition attempts to remove some dinosaurs from the island as the company tries to recover from the disaster in the original film.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens in theaters on June 22nd, 2018.
