ABC’s fall schedule has a golden opportunity for viewership.
As part of its announcements at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, ABC is rolling out its fall premiere dates, finally landing on a debut spot for the upcoming Golden Bachelorette.
According to the company, The Golden Bachelorette debuts on Wednesday, Sept. 18, with former Golden Bachelor contestant Joan Vassos taking the lead. Whether or not Vassos finds love, the show will almost certainly find viewership, with The Golden Bachelor’s inaugural season averaging almost 10 million viewers across platforms.
Elsewhere in the schedule, Monday Night Football returns for select weeks on Sept. 9, with the New York Jets taking on the San Francisco 49ers. On Monday, Oct. 7, Pat Sajak’s final episodes of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Elizabeth Banks’ Press Your Luck join the schedule.
Previously teased at Disney’s upfront event in May, Kaitlin Olson’s High Potential joins the schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Dancing with the Stars also joins on Sept. 17, starting at 8 p.m.
Class is in session for Abbott Elementary starting on Oct. 9, with the docuseries Scamanda following.
Thursdays are for your medical checkups, with 9-1-1 at 8 p.m., the Joshua Jackson-starring Doctor Odyssey at 9 p.m. and Grey’s Anatomy at 10 p.m.
Viewers can also watch a new season of 20/20 on Friday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m., and Shark Tank joins the schedule on Fridays at 8 p.m. on Oct. 18.
