Project to create a photo essay capturing the exciting return to hospitality, documenting the changes in drinking culture since lockdown.
Role Details
As lockdown eases and we are finally able to go back to pubs, bars and restaurants, there is undoubtably going to be a change in drinking culture. So we want to document this exciting and highly anticipated return to hospitality in a series of photos and short interviews with people socialising in the on trade.
We need 1 photojournalist/ photographer in Leeds and 1 in Birmingham
There’s 3 parts to this project: photo essay, mass images (about 50 additional images to the photo essay) and 5-10 minute Vox Pop interviews, all to show how drinking culture has changed since the pandemic and what drinking means for people now. You do not need to do all 3 of the above, but the first two are crucial!
This work will need to be carried out over the first weekend of lockdown eases (UK) so Thursday 20th-Sunday 23rd.
You must have you own equipment and be able to shoot stills and videos. We’ll pay you £250 a day!
