Ticker: Megyn Kelly to Get Her Own SiriusXM Channel

Top of the Ticker: Megyn Kelly, the former Fox News and NBC News personality, has signed a new multi-year deal with SiriusXM. As part of the deal, Kelly will headline her own channel, The Megyn Kelly Channel, on the audio platform beginning Tuesday, November 4.

The new channel, available on channel 111, will continue to feature The Megyn Kelly Show, as well as new programming, including the debut of an exclusive daily after-show program. Additional series, shows, and specials will be announced at a later date. Programming that was formerly available on channel 111 will be moved to channel 123.

NewsNation Event: Following up on its town hall from earlier this year, NewsNation revealed it will host a new town hall on Wednesday, October 15, at 8 p.m. ET. The two-hour town hall taking place in Washington, D.C., will be hosted by Chris Cuomo and joined by Bill O’Reilly and Stephen A. Smith. It will feature members of the Trump administration, special guests, and leaders from both political parties.

Revolving Door: CNN has announced that Rachel Tashjian will be joining the network as a senior style reporter. Reporting to CNN Style’s global editor, Fiona Sinclair Scott, Tashjian will provide multi-platform reporting and analysis of both everyday appearance and high fashion. She will also document the cultural shifts influencing today’s fashion trends. Tashjian joins CNN from The Washington Post, where she was a fashion critic in the publication’s Style section.

Premiere Guests: Mike Pence, Rahm Emanuel, Sean Spicer, and Faiz Shakir were announced by C-SPAN as the first guests of its new weekly series, Ceasefire, debuting on Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m. ET. Hosted by Politico’s Dasha Burns, the format of the political show will feature two conversations, with the first one taking place with Pence and Emanuel. It will be followed by the second conversation with Spicer and Shakir.
